Experience
Since 2008, SeaKnowledge has been at the forefront of deep-sea exploration. Karl McLetchie, owner of SeaKnowledge, has been to sea on over 30 research expeditions on 8 different research vessels.
Before starting SeaKnowledge Karl attended MIT, earning a B.S. and M.S. in Ocean and Mechanical Engineering with a focus on hydrodynamics and mechanical design. He then gained practical experience of the ocean delivering sailboats for 3 winters and earning his 100 Masters USCG License. All of this education and experience served him well working for the clients below on a wide variety of designs and on expeditions all over the world.
